Cloudy and cold spring painting, no wind.

Yesterday’s perfectly clear weather turned cloudy this morning. I headed out to yesterday’s site knowing that while the painting might have to undergo significant changes, the light was fantastic, silvery. We’re supposed to get a half foot of snow tomorrow.

  1. Hello Rob,
I saw the very nice article about your work in last week’s MD Islander because my wife happened to attend some function and they were handing out the paper, and she brought it home. I’m guessing that you are the same Rob Pollien who grew up in Fairfield, CT. those many years ago. I live in Blue Hill and teach at Maine Maritime. Congratulations on your considerable success as an artist!
