Update: Hunter’s Cliff, Day 2

Hunter's Cliff, pencil and Conté on board, 18 x 12 inches

Although this is one of my favorite places to paint in Acadia National park, getting to this particular vantage point can be dicey. If the tide is not dead low, or if the weather is cool and damp, the seaweed covered rocks that surround my painting spot are treacherous. In fact, last fall I painted up there and swore, “never again”.
