Study, Duck Brook
Oil on Panel/ 10 x 10 inches
This painting has been around forever. I finally took its picture and brought it to the framer. When I painted this, I was playing around with transparent dark colors and opaque lights. A friend had given me some very, very nice turpentine, lovely stuff. Now I’m hooked.
Sand Beach, Acadia National Park, oil on panel.
Changes are afoot as I reconsider and tinker with my approach to painting. This is an updated shot of a painting that has been in play for quite a while. I’ve been painting on Birch panels of late, enjoying the stable, smooth surface.
