First Pass, oil on linen, 12 x 12 inches
I liked the little study so I stepped up just a touch to 12 x 12 inches, adjusted the composition.
Spring Point, South Portland, Maine from the winter of 1991. I remember freezing my fingers off on this 8 x 10. It took an inordinate amount of time:

About 7 hours into it out on site in Acadia. En plein aire but not au premier coup, which suits me just fine…
